Same Reflected Sun

© 2013 Hannah Phelps

There are some funny plants on the edge of the sea in southern Maine. They are bright green until the end of August and then they turn a wonderful pink.

A couple of years ago, the sun hit the tops of these weird little bushes at the end of a painting day. I swore I would paint them. And I did, eventually. A few weeks ago, I saw a similar thing, but this time the nearly full moon showed up too.

Irresistible, really. So here it is.

Facebook fans got to bid first.
